Independent Support Service WA is a family owned and run company in Perth with over 30 years of experience in the Disability sector. ISSWA provide support to people living with a disability in the community.

We are currently looking for a female support worker to join our team. The right person must English is their first language, as per participants request.

The right person needs to be:

Reliable, dedicated and able to problem solve. Be bright and bubbly and be able to support a person living with a disability to access the community and to provide personal care in the home.

Days we are looking to cover would be:

• Monday to Sunday 4pm – 8pm Dayton
• Monday to Friday 9am – 12pm Alexander Heights.
• Monday: 9am -1pm – Bayswater,
• Monday 11am – 1 pm South Perth
• Tuesday: 9.30am – 3.30pm – Mirrabooka
• Thursday: 9.am – 3.pm-Woodvale
• Thursday: 9am – 1pm -Bayswater
• Friday 10-1pm South Perth
• Saturday: 9.30am – 3.30pm – Mirrabooka
• other casual shifts north of the river also available.
• Only applicants that are available to work these hours and meet the criteria and live locally will be contacted.
• Minimum availability required is 20 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Current WA Drivers licence.
• NDIS clearance check or willingness to get one.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate.
• Good understanding of the english language.
• Own a reliable motor vehicle.
