This is a permanent, full-time position. We are looking for someone who is genuinely seeking full-time, ongoing employment and can commit to the required working hours on a consistent basis.

About the Role

This is a diverse and hands-on position involving all aspects of front-of-house reception, along with a wide range of administrative responsibilities.

You will be an important first point of contact for patients, families and specialists, so a professional, friendly and organised approach is essential.

Medical reception experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Due to the nature of our practice, consistent attendance and punctuality is essential. We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes commitment to their roster seriously
  • Shows up on time and is dependable day-to-day
  • Understands that their role directly impacts patients, families, and the wider team

If you value reliability and pride yourself on being someone your team can count on, we would love to hear from you.

The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:

  • A strong commitment to reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
  • A passion for customer service and delivering high-quality care
  • A warm, engaging, and sincere manner with patients and their families
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with resilience in a busy environment
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and problem-solve effectively
  • Confidence with calendar management, scheduling, email, and telephone communication
  • The ability to quickly learn medical practice software systems- we use Xestro
  • A friendly, kind, considerate, hardworking, and adaptable approach

What we offer:

  • The opportunity to work alongside a fantastic group of paediatric specialists.
  • A friendly and supportive administrative team.
  • A varied and rewarding role in an established medical practice.
  • Full training and support to help you develop in the position.

Commencement and Training:

The position will officially commence in January 2027 . However, we are happy to offer an earlier start in December 2026 to allow time for training, familiarisation with our systems and a smooth transition into the role.

We would ideally love to find someone who is available to commence training in December and is committed to joining our team on a permanent, full-time basis from January 2027.
