Love what you do, where you do it.

Imagine finishing a session where a client has just stood up from a chair unassisted for the first time in months, then strolling five minutes to grab a coffee or dip your toes in the ocean before your next appointment. That’s a normal day at One80 Allied Health in Lennox Head.

We’re looking for a passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our team as a subcontractor, starting with 2 days a week and plenty of room to grow. New graduates are warmly welcomed.

Why you’ll love working with us

  • The best location on the coast: right in the heart of Lennox Head, a 5 minute walk to cafes, shops and the beach
  • Referrals on your doorstep: we’re directly across the road from our main referring medical centre, so you’ll build genuine working relationships with local GPs
  • Clients waiting for you: an established client base and steady referral flow, so you’re not starting from scratch
  • Real mentoring: work alongside our director, a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with 10 years’ experience in chronic disease, pain, mental health and nervous system regulation
  • Great earning potential: 60% of billings (approx. $60-$90/hr) plus $60 per class, paid fortnightly
  • Everything set up for you: fully equipped clinic and private gym space, Cliniko and admin support

The work that makes a difference

Our clients come to us through Medicare (CDM/EPC), DVA, NDIS, WorkCover/CTP and private referrals. One day you might help a veteran get back on the golf course, the next you’ll guide someone through returning to running after a knee replacement, or help a client regulate their nervous system and finally sleep through the night. You’ll:

  • Run initial assessments and ongoing 1:1 and semi-private sessions
  • Deliver group classes.
  • Write clear, meaningful reports for GPs and funding bodies
  • Be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about client outcomes

What you’ll need

  • AEP accreditation with ESSA, or eligibility for it (new grads welcome)
  • A Medicare provider number
  • SIRA registration
  • An ABN, plus professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid/CPR
  • A warm, curious approach and a genuine love of helping people move, breathe and live better

Ready to make your move to the coast?

Apply now with your CV and a short cover letter telling us why you chose exercise physiology and the kind of clients you love working with. We’d love to hear from you.
