About the role
We’re hiring Occupational Therapists at all stages of their career. Whether you’re a new graduate looking for a supportive start or an experienced OT ready for your next step, we’d love to hear from you. We’re open to full-time, part-time, casual and contracting arrangements, and happy to talk about what works best for you
As an Occupational Therapist at Peers 4 People, you’ll work with clients across the lifespan, from early childhood through to older adulthood. Our caseloads include people with Autism (ASD), Intellectual Disability and psychosocial disability, and our focus is on building real-world skills that support independence and participation.
We are a fully mobile, outreach-based team. Sessions happen where life happens, in homes, schools and community settings, in an agreed service area. Building our own clinic space is part of our future plans, and you’ll be joining at a stage where you can help shape what that looks like.
Family and life transitions are at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a child starting school, a teenager moving into adulthood, or an adult building routines and confidence in the community, you’ll work alongside families, carers and support networks to make those changes feel manageable.
What we offer:
- regular supervision and mentoring with a structured support program for new graduates
- flexible hours and scheduling that fit around your life
- Competitive salary, plus performance incentives
- Extra leave, such as a birthday day off or wellbeing days
- Admin time and realistic KPIs
Key responsibilities
- Complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and other reports or letters that support NDIS plan reviews
- Deliver therapy focused on skill development, sensory regulation and emotional support
- Set goals with participants and families that align with their NDIS plans
- Provide family-centred, holistic support that respects each person’s routines and needs
- Apply trauma-informed, evidence-based practice in all sessions
About you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current general registration with AHPRA (Occupational Therapy Board of Australia)
- A sound understanding of the NDIS and strong clinical report-writing skills
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain them before you start
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
About us
Peers 4 People is a registered NDIS provider based in Brisbane, supporting clients across South East Queensland. We were founded by people who understand the realities of disability and complex care needs first-hand, and we built Peers to bridge the gap between clinical allied health and everyday community support. Our team brings together occupational therapy, support work and peer mentoring under one roof, so clients get joined-up care rather than disconnected services. We receive referrals through NDIS (self-managed, plan-managed and agency-managed), private clients and government-funded programs. As an emerging business, we value clear communication, strong teamwork and building something meaningful together.
