Looking for a rewarding role in community care with consistent hours, a supportive team and the opportunity to make a genuine difference? We’d love to hear from you.

At Kanda, we understand how important it is to find a role that offers both job satisfaction and work-life balance.

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Worker to join our Community Nursing team, supporting clients in their own homes throughout Adelaide’s Eastern Suburbs.

Enjoy consistent weekly shifts, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am , with occasional weekend shifts shared fairly across the team. With a minimum of 25 hours per week, paid travel time between clients and kilometre reimbursement, you’ll have the stability of a regular roster and the support of an experienced clinical team.
You’ll be working alongside our Registered Nurses and Clinical Manager, who are committed to providing guidance, support and quality care.

About the role

You will provide in-home support to clients, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Providing light domestic assistance.
  • Assisting with shopping and other everyday tasks.
  • Supporting clients across multiple locations throughout Adelaide’s Eastern Suburbs.
  • Working collaboratively with our Registered Nurses and wider clinical team.

You will need your own reliable, fully insured vehicle, as travel between clients is an essential part of the role. Travel time between visits is paid, along with a kilometre allowance.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or Individual Support.
  • Has previous experience in a similar care or support role.
  • Is compassionate, approachable, dependable and genuinely enjoys helping others.
  • Takes pride in providing quality, person-centred care.
  • Can commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week on a consistent Monday to Friday roster.
  • Has a reliable, fully insured vehicle and is comfortable travelling throughout the region.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must also hold:

  • A current National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A Manual Handling Certificate (completed or refreshed within the last 12 months).
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum two doses).

Why join Kanda?

At Kanda, you’ll be part of a supportive team where your contribution is valued. We offer consistent working hours, paid travel between clients, kilometre reimbursement and direct access to an experienced clinical team.

If you’re passionate about supporting people to live independently in their own homes and are looking for a stable, rewarding opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
