Optimum Health General Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurse to join our team in the role of Practice Nurse. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Use Best Practice software
• Health assessments/Care plans/and other assessments
• Treatment Room Management
• Childhood and Travel immunisations
• Daily stock count and supply replenishment
• General admin clinic duties
• ECG, ABI, Spirometry, Iron Infusions, Wound Dressing and helping with basic procedures
• Triaging of patients
• Understanding cold chain

About you

• Fully registered nurse with AHPRA
• Insured for own practice indemnity
• Current CPR Certificate and Working with Children’s Check
• Immunisation for registered nurses’ certificate / knowledge of childhood vaccination, catch up vaccination, travel vaccination
• Excellent communication skills
• A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
• A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism
• Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
• Courteous and well-groomed with a professional manner
• Practice Nurse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
