About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about skin to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care, helping patients maintain their physical and mental health and general wellbeing. This varied role combines general practice nursing with skin health and aesthetic treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Providing wound care, dressings, suture removal and post-treatment aftercare
• Assisting doctors with skin checks, biopsies and excisions, including setting up and maintaining a sterile fields
• Administering immunisations and vaccinations, and keeping AIR records up to date
• Coordinating patient assessments, health assessments and care plans
• Performing ECGs, spirometry and other clinical tests
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Assisting with skin consultations and helping patients plan their treatment
• Performing and assisting with laser therapies, skin peels, HydraFacials and other advanced skincare treatments

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• 2–5 years of post-registration experience in a hospital, general practice or other medical setting
• A genuine interest in skin health and aesthetic treatments
• Experience with laser, peels or skin treatments highly regarded, and training is available for the right person
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practice
• Immunisation accreditation, or willingness to obtain it
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care
• Confidence with medical software and technology
• The ability to work well as part of a team
