About the role

Mediplus Nursing Agency is recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) for casual agency shifts across Sydney metropolitan areas, including CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Ryde & Macquarie Park, Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches and surrounding areas. The roles involve providing nursing and care services to residents in aged care facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Clinical assessments
• Wound care
• Documentation
• Work independently and take in-charge responsibility (RNs)

About you

Registered Nurses (priority hiring):

• Current AHPRA registration
• Previous Australian aged care experience highly preferred
• Confident in medication administration, clinical assessments, wound care and documentation
• Ability to work independently and take in-charge responsibility
• Strong communication skills, reliability and professionalism

Assistants in Nursing (limited availability) :

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Ageing Support or equivalent
• Previous residential aged care experience or similar is essential (excluding clinical placements)
• Competent in personal care, mobility assistance and manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Responsive to communication and rostering requests
• Professional, adaptable and confident in their roles
