About the Role

As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to older people in their homes and communities, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Domestic Assistance
• Meal Preparation
• Assisting with personal care
• Social Support
• Transport & Community Access

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient, reliable and responsible.
• Passionate about supporting older people to live independently.
• A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Respectful of clients’ dignity, privacy, cultural backgrounds and individual needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous aged care or community care experience is preferred.
• A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or an equivalent qualification is an advantage, but not essential.
• Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills are highly desirable.
• A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
• A current police check is required, or willingness to obtain one
• Current CPR or First Aid certificates, or willingness to obtain one.
